With Stigliole Paesane it's an instant party. They are a "must" for your outdoor barbecues in the company of your friends. For Stigliola Paesane we use exclusively the intestines of milk lambs. Once cleaned and cut, the intestines are rolled in a bar of primo sale cheese, spring onion, shallot and parsley. An ancient recipe still in use in some towns in the Sicilian hinterland, where sheep farming was a certainty for one's future and the flock represented a true "extension" of one's family. Thus, from the millenary tradition of our ancestors, farmers and shepherds, this poor food is born, but rich in history and tradition.
